Devon Artist Network is delighted to have the opportunity to show some of its sculptor members' work on Exeter Northcott's splendid plinth. Artists have been invited to show a piece of their work, or an installation of pieces, on the nine-foot plinth in the Theatre’s foyer, with Exhibits changing on a monthly basis.
June's installation on the Exeter Northcott Theatre's plinth is Jubilee Queen by Exeter artist Jane Perkins.
Jane describes herself as a 're-maker' has created three portraits of the Queen made from discarded pieces of rubbish. The triptych depicts the monarch in three stages of life: during her Coronation, Silver Jubilee and the Diamond Jubilee.
