Convenient Parking
Getting here by car
Download detailed directions for getting here by car.
Follow the yellow signs to Car Parks A & B, located 5 – 10 mins walk from the theatre, near the Innovation Centre off North Park Road. A FREE Shuttle Bus links the car parks with the theatre for those who'd rather not walk. The bus operates in the two hours before each performance and an hour afterwards, with services running approximately every 10 minutes. Customers should easily spot the Shuttle Bus, which is run by Mid Devon Coaches and is clearly signed 'Exeter Northcott Shuttle Bus'. There are also bus shelters for you wait in, should it be raining, and the service should add no more than 15 minutes to your journey.
The car park shuttle buses have proved popular with customers since their introduction:
The Shuttle Bus service is great. We get out of our car and if the bus isn't there waiting, it usually comes in no time."
Customer feedback, March 2011
We think the parking with the Shuttle Bus is a great improvement, as it staggers the traffic leaving after a performance, causing less congestion."

The Geoffrey Pope car park
The Geoffrey Pope car park (first left after the bus shelter on North Park Road) is now open for use, with 26 spaces available. Six spaces have been allocated for use for a maximum of 30 minutes during the day, with the remainder open for general use.
Car Park C
This new car park is located next to the INTO Academy Centre at the top of Stocker Road and offers 52 FREE spaces for evening and weekend performances, 10 of which are for blue badge holders. Entrance to the car park is on North Park Road, opposite the bus stop. Please be aware that during weekdays (9am to 6pm) this is a pay and display car park.
Car Park D
This new car park opened in April 2012 and is located half way down North Park Road and offers plenty of FREE parking for evening and weekend performances. Entrance to the car park is on North Park Road. Please be aware that during weekdays (9am to 6pm) this is a pay and display car park.
Changes to Vehicle Routes and Parking
Stocker Road remains closed for both vehicle and pedestrian use, to allow for the continuing Capital Development project on Streatham Campus. Incoming traffic from Prince of Wales Road continues to be via Queen's Drive only, before joining the one-way system along North Park Road and Rennes Drive.
Download a map which shows current vehicular access and parking information.
Parking on Queen's Drive has now been withdrawn. Alternative parking can be found at Northcote House or by the temporary shops on Queen's Drive.
Further improvements to the road layout on campus are expected later this year. Click here for the latest news regarding these changes, as well as the Capital Development Programme as a whole.
The biggest demand for parking at Streatham Campus is expected to be between 9am and 6pm from Monday to Friday during the University term. For this reason we now only schedule schools matinee performances during term time and advise customers to travel to the theatre by coach for these performances.
Please do contact the Box Office on 01392 493 493 if you have any queries about planning your visit.
