The Exeter Northcott Theatre Today

We were very proud to reopen in December 2007 after being closed for almost a year for our first major redevelopment in 40 years.

The £2.1m raised has enabled us to provide:

* Full accessibility for all customers with a new lift and ramped pathway leading to the main entrance

* New seats throughout the auditorium

* A complete refurbishment of all public areas

* A stylish new bar and food servery, providing not only a vibrant place to socialise but also a meeting /networking space - with the avialability of wi-fi for all those wanting a relaxed area to work with a good cup of coffee

Special thanks must go to our major stakeholders for the continued support:  Arts Council England, SW; Devon County Council; Exeter City Council and the University of Exeter.

The Exeter Northcott Theatre today is more than just a building, it is a creative platform where people can meet to be inspired; it is the hub from where all that xN creates can reach out into the community.
