Workshops for Schools & Colleges
We offer a growing range of opportunities with a variety of partners some of which are detailed here. This coming season schools' workshops are available to accompany A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard Alston Dance Company, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Some Like It Hotter, Varmints and Jasmin Vardimon Company.
FREE Schools Workshop
Two Gentlemen of Verona
Thursday 6 June, 10am - 12 noon
Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory are offering a FREE Schools Workshop to a maximum of 30 students on the morning of Thursday 6 June. The workshop will be run by Chris Donnelly who plays Lance in the show and will be based around comedy. It is aimed at secondary schools with a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 30.
Although the Workshop is FREE, students must purchase tickets for the 1.30pm Schools' Matinee performance on the same day. The Matinee is followed by a FREE Post Show Talk, and the whole day should finish at around 4.30pm.
Tickets for the matinee are £7.50 for groups of 10+, with one teacher FREE with every 10 students, and can be booked directly with the Exeter Northcott Theatre Box Office on 01392 493 493.
Places for the Workshop are strictly limited so spaces are on a first come, first served basis.
