For Christmas 2019 we were thrilled that Sir Ian McKellen launched our ‘Pay it Forward’ campaign, supported by Salcombe Dairy. This campaign asked people to donate money so that we could give 1,000 pantomime tickets to families who might not otherwise be able to come. Every £1 donated by the public was matched by Exeter Northcott with the support of our sponsors.
Over 1,500 people donated raising more than £8,000 enabling us to gift 1,000 tickets to our community via local charities.
‘This partnership has been a great thing. It makes a lot of commercial sense and it also feels right. Our organisation is similar to the Northcott in lots of ways – we both offer quality products to our audiences and we’re rooted in our community.’
Dan Bly, Managing Director at Salcombe Dairy
‘Due to an injury in the workplace, we have struggled to make ends meet. Christmas was especially hard. Going to the panto was a lovely experience and really made the festive season enjoyable. Thank you ever so much.’
