Give a special gift to children and families this Christmas

Pay It Forward is supported by Bishop Fleming and Wollens

More than thirty children and carers were able to enjoy a special experience at our theatre thanks to sponsorship from Bishop Fleming and Wollens.

The children came to see the West End production of Gangsta Granny based on the much-loved book by David Walliams. For many, it was their very first theatre visit and they all gave the experience top reviews.

It was my daughter’s first time at the theatre and she was blown away by it. She is already asking to come again!

The children were invited following the our theatre’s pilot community project in Newcourt, Exeter. The project invited families in the area to join in a range of enjoyable creative activities and get to know some of the Northcott team.

For many families, a trip to the theatre just isn’t something they are able to do. We got to know families in Newcourt by meeting them in their space and it was wonderful to then follow up with an invitation to our theatre too. The young people just loved it and we’ll continue to work with them on other creative opportunities too.

A further 66 tickets will be given to children and their carers via our theatre’s Adventure Hour project which offers a creative programme for early years children. The children will see Zog and the Flying Doctors at the Northcott this July once again, thanks to the support of Bishop Fleming and Wollens.

We are delighted to support Northcott Theatre’s community project, enabling children within the communities in which we operate and serve to have a truly unforgettable experience. As a firm, we are dedicated to making a difference and working closely with the theatre enables us to have a positive impact on the societies which surround us. We hope all the children had a fantastic day.
