HMS Pinafore – G&S 2015

  • Show Information

When our tale starts, the crew of the HMS Pinafore eagerly await the arrival of the First Lord of the Admiralty, Sir Joseph Porter. Captain Corcoran is especially nervous about the visit, as he knows that Sir Joseph is keen on his daughter Josephine’s affections, and hopes the two will marry. Unfortunately for Sir Joseph, someone else on board is also after Josephine’s heart; but as he is only a humble sailor, he cannot hope to marry a lass so far above his station…can he?
A satirical tale of love and class, HMS Pinafore is one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most famous works. Our fantastic cast and orchestra will have you laughing out loud and whistling the tunes for days afterwards. So come and feast your eyes and ears on the musical, nautical delight that is HMS Pinafore!
