Ripple Effect – Living Newspaper

  • Show Information

This Autumn, the Ripple Effect group will produce a living newspaper: a human documentation of the experience of living through these last extraordinary, harrowing years.

Like any good journalist, the group will go searching for the stories that haven’t been told, bringing them to vivid life in the form of an embodied, voiced newspaper – right in front of your eyes.

This open workshop will form part of the creative development process of the newspaper.

About Ripple Effect

Ripple Effect is a group for adults who are marginalised and/or experiencing a range of disadvantages. The ethos of Ripple Effect is to provide an opportunity for people to be citizens & participants, not simply ‘service users’.

Through art and storytelling skills, the Ripple Effect project seeks to put participants’ voices, identities, experiences first, supporting them to articulate their experiences in order to influence, challenge stigma and bring about wider change.
