The English Concert rank among the finest chamber orchestras across the world with an unsurpassed reputation for performances of baroque and early classical music. For this visit to Exeter Northcott the Orchestra presents music from the greatest Baroque masters upon whom they built their reputation, and casts light on some of the more neglected corners of the period with Tartini’s virtuosic violin concerto, performed by the orchestra’s inspirational leader Nadja Zwiener.

Vivaldi – Concerto for strings in G minor
Tartini – Violin Concerto in B minor
Bach – Orchestral Suite No 3
