What is Adventure Hour?

Adventure Hour is a series of free creative storytelling sessions tailored to children in different age groups (typically 0 – 1, 2 – 4 and 5 – 8). In each session, we will go on an exciting adventure together – exploring new places, moving our bodies, singing songs, telling stories, and making something to take home with us. Grown-ups can join in too: Adventure Hour is a chance to play and create together.

Big and little brothers and sisters are welcome to join in too, but we recommend that where possible, you bring a friend or family member to look after them. This is so you can focus on enjoying Adventure Hour with your older child or children. The Beacon Centre will provide toys and an alternative space for friends and family to play with little ones during sessions.

Snacks and a drink are included. Everyone is welcome – all sessions are inclusive of all access, learning and language needs.
