Charlotte Hanson (Head of Projects & Participation, Exeter Northcott Theatre), Daniel Gresswell, (Partner, Corporate and Commercial Team, Wollens), Lucy Rundle (Paralegal, Corporate and Commercial Team, Wollens), Charlotte McGregor (Partner, Private Client Team, Wollens), Kelly Johnson (Marketing and Development Director, Exeter Northcott Theatre)
Wollens have announced a year-long partnership with Exeter Northcott Theatre to support its charitable work providing creative opportunities for the people of Devon.

Exeter Northcott welcomes more than 100,000 people through its doors each year and delivers creative opportunities to more than 16,000 people across the region. Having just taken over the management of the city-centre Barnfield Theatre, the Northcott plans to extend its work with local communities, artists and young people, offering more creative opportunities and career pathways.

In the last year we’ve ramped up our community activity. We’ve been listening to what’s needed and offering creative opportunities that have real impact. With this support from our partners, Wollens, we can continue to deliver and grow this vital programme of work for people in Devon.

The sponsorship will support initiatives such as the Northcott’s Pay It Forward campaign which gives theatre tickets to people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to go and the theatre’s Under 26 scheme which offers heavily subsidised tickets to local young people.

Wollens are one of the largest independent law firms in the region, employing over 140 people with exceptional specialists across private client matters as well as company and commercial law. Alongside their office in Exeter, located on Cathedral Green, Wollens also have offices in South and North Devon – coast to coast across the county. The business has grown rapidly in recent years with two mergers and a substantial firm-wide re-brand.

Wollens pride themselves on teamwork but also have individual solicitors who are respected and able to specialise in their own particular field. Their mantra is Full Spectrum Law – reflective of a comprehensive and full array of services to their clients, putting them at the forefront of all that they do.

They never lose sight of what’s most important: to provide the best possible guidance in a no-nonsense, approachable and accessible way.

As one of the largest firms of solicitors in the South West, Wollens has a long history of playing an active role in our colourful community. We’re delighted that our sponsorship of the Northcott will enable greater access to creative experiences and enrich the lives of local people.
