Creative Communities
Everyone’s story matters. Everyone’s story has the power to affect those around them and change the world. It’s just that most of the time we don’t think of ourselves as storytellers. Which is where artists come in; supporting people to find the right way to tell their stories, and helping turn them into something that will make the world stop and take notice.
We’ve launched a new scheme to support community-based creative projects in the Exeter area, matching the ambitions and bright ideas of the communities we serve with the professional artists who can help bring them to life. We’re interested to hear about the change you want to make in your community and how you think creativity might be able to play a part in that. We’re particularly keen to make space for unheard voices and untold stories.

Creative Schools
We know that 2020/21 is going to be a challenging year for schools, with chances to embrace opportunities outside the curriculum even more limited than usual. However, we also know that with the take-up of creative subjects at GCSE continuing to fall, it’s more vital than ever that we support teachers who are committed to developing the creativity of their pupils.
